Does my child need to be potty trained to attend CEP?

Potty training is only required in our 4 year-old classroom.  The remaining classes (3 years and under) do not have a requirement that children be potty trained.

My child is sick, should I call the school to let them know she won’t be there?

A phone call to the office (703-569-3033) is appreciated if your child is out due to an illness.

My child has allergies will she be safe at CEP?
We are a nut free school and work with parents to accommodate any childhood allergies to the best of our abilities.   In addition, we have 2 staff members who have received Medication Administration Training (M.A.T.)

When is tuition due and who do I make checks out to?

Tuition is due the first day of each month and not later than the 10th and payments can be made online via our Procare Tuition payment (credit/debit/bank transfer) or checks can be made out to CEP and dropped in the CEP office.

Is there a late fee of tuition not paid by the due date?

Yes, a $10 late fee should be added to payments made after the 10th day of the month.

Does the school close for Fairfax County Public Schools teacher workdays?

Yes, CEP generally follows Fairfax County’s traditional calendar including teacher workdays.   For more information, a detailed calendar is distributed at the beginning of each school year.

It’s snowing outside and Fairfax County is opening 2 hours late, when does CEP open?
When Fairfax County schools have either a 1 or 2 hour delay (for any reason), CEP will have a 1 hour delay and will open at 11am on late opening days.

Can I come visit the school and see the classrooms?
YES - we are now open for in-person tours. Please email the director at director@messiahcep.org or call 703.569.3033 in order to schedule a time for a tour.
