Mrs. Melanie Thompson is in her first year at CEP. She is working in our younger 2's classroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Director
Mrs. Kristy Alden is in her first year with CEP. She works with our M/W/F 3s class. Having worked in other area preschools, Ms. Kristy is excited to be in the classroom with our 3s.
Mrs. Kristy Stoddard is in her 9th year with CEP. She has taught all of our age groups and is currently the Lead Teacher for our Shining Stars (4 year old) class. Two of her grandchildren have attended or are attending CEP.

Music Teacher
Mrs. Amanda Buehrig is in her 4th year with CEP. Two of her children are CEP graduates and she was very involved with our Parent Committee. She is excited to be the Lead Teacher in our Bees class (M/W/F 2's).
2s Asst Teacher
Mrs. Karen Battagello is in her 2nd year with CEP. She brings tremendous enthusiasm and love for children to her classroom.
Ms. Katy Rey is in her 1st year at CEP. She works with our Monday 3/4 Camp Day Class and our After Care Program.
Mrs. Jillian Rybalsky is in her 2nd year with CEP. She has been a music educator for many years, most recently as a Music Together specialist. She looks forward to creating confident music makers at CEP as she teaches fundamental musical concepts through developmentally appropriate play.

Ms. Heather Monette is in her first year with CEP. She is excited to be the Lead teacher in our younger 2s class and our 3 day 3s class, as well as for our After Care students. She comes to CEP with lots of experience in early childhood and brings joy and excitement for learning to her classroom.
Mrs. Wendi Dorey is in her 9th year with CEP. Both of her kids went through the CEP program. She worked here for several years and took some time off. She enjoys being back and working as an assistant in the 3s classroom.
Mrs. Talia Mosconi is in her 9th year with CEP, both of her children are CEP graduates and she loves assisting in the 4's classroom. She will be working with our Before Care program and leading our Monday "Camp" Day class for 3s/4s.
Mrs. Katie Polk is in her 17th year at CEP. Her children all attended CEP and she started as an assistant teacher when her youngest joined our program. She has been a lead teacher with the 2s and 3s classes over the years. A Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she brings experience and enthusiasm to her role as Director. She loves guiding this fabulous staff and working with our wonderful families to continue to build our program. And she loves to lead weekly Science classes for all classes, as well.

Mrs. Kathy Walsh is in her 2nd year with CEP. Kathy Walsh is the assistant teacher for the two year old Bees class. She has lived in Virginia her whole life and resides in Springfield with her husband, daughter and cat. She graduated from West Springfield HS and has a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech. Kathy was a CEP room parent, parent board member, Fun Fair Co-chair and substitute teacher while her daughter attended CEP.
